L'Orange Variée by Les Parfums de Marcy is a ceramic orange peel, painted and glazed with startling accuracy, holding eight enameled glass bottles shaped like segments, each one a different perfume. The corks fit into the bottoms of the segments, concealed when placed upside-down. Circa 1925, complete sets are so fragile that collectors spend years cobbling them together from separate auctions.
