This fall, he’s redoing his bedroom with a warmer, more refined look, taking inspiration from the interiors of overnight train cars. JF Chen Antique shop on Highland Ave. Lake Powell in August at 9 p.m. Tide pools in Malibu, where I look for Spanish shawl nudibranchs (a type of sea slug). They are the most electric purple and orange colors.

The most tasteful and stylish people are not on the internet. They don’t need to document it.

What’s an item you can’t live without?

A dimmer.

Kate Moss’ home feature in Scenery magazine. It feels so real and lived in. Deeply feminine and raw.

Who is your forever inspo?

Nancy Meyers. I almost hate saying this because her “aesthetic” has been categorized as a social media trend. But beyond the internet, it’s the way she approaches living through film that inspires me. Everything she does is timeless and real.
