In case (or perhaps because) you’ve been living under a rock, Gorpcore marries tech-fibered outdoor gear with street style. Streetwear heads have been Gorpin’ for years (think: Nike ACG, vintage Columbia, Merrell slides), but rather than fall out of style the trend has since been luxe‑ified. Recent collaborations like Gucci × The North Face, Margiela x Salomon , and Jil Sander x Arc’teryx carabinered the look from trailhead to front row. Underneath, Gorpcore rewrites what counts as “extreme.” Brands built for real mountains and bad weather now double as city armor.
