Pulling from domestic interiors, convenience-store plastics, and low-stakes but high-nostalgia materials, she reframes the familiar through styling, scale, and placement. Across fine art, products, and creative direction for Balenciaga, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Nike, and more, she moves easily between accessible kitsch and a kind of deadpan restraint. Her images speak the language of camp, then twists into something new and uncanny. This year, she’s leaning deeper into tactility and comfort, with more wearables and collectibles stepping off the screen and into the room.

What do you do when you hit a creative block?

I always feel like an asshole when I respond to this question, but I don’t really experience creative blocks. Ideas are the one thing that come to me endlessly.

What was the last film you watched that moved you deeply?

I’m not sure I’d say it moved me deeply, but I recently watched Weapons by Zach Cregger and really loved it. I’m usually more of a thriller fan than horror, but the balance between content and form was so good that it made the horror part strangely compelling. The visuals were so beautiful, and as someone who struggles with attention span, I was fully locked in for the full two hours and something.

What book have you gifted most?

I don’t think I’ve ever gifted the same book twice, but most recently I gave my copy of The Artist’s Way to our studio’s lead designer.

What’s something you bought for under $100 that changed your life?

My cat. She was a stray and lived outdoors for over a year, and she completely changed my life in the best way imaginable.

Who is your forever inspo?

Louise Bourgeois, Virgil Abloh, Tracey Emin, my parents, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Maurizio Cattelan, Merlin and Merlin’s owl, to name a few.
