Where we went in November 2011 for vacation!

Statue of Liberty, NY. Everyone is familiar with the Statue of Liberty as a symbol of the promise of America, but few are probably aware that, for a few years early in its existence, it was also officially a lighthouse, and under the authority of the Lighthouse Board. The lighted torch in Lady Liberty’s right hand had, and still has, great symbolic significance, but at its beginning, it was also used as a navigational aid for ships entering New York Harbor.

Hubby is from here! In Chillicothe, Ohio, the Schrader Road Tunnel, is believed a woman and her child died inside this tunnel. The manner of death depends on who you ask. Schrader Road Tunnel has its share of paranormal activity. If you drive through the tunnel with your lights off & windows rolled down you can hear the cry of a baby, hand prints are found on the back of the car, strange sounds, apparition of a woman, laughter of children, cold spots & a dark figure with red eyes.

Gatlinburg / TN. Located in the heart of the Smokies, right along the Gatlinburg Parkway is a bustling town called Gatlinburg. This resort-like town, nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee, is known for it’s beautiful scenery, great shopping and colorful history.

Chicago skyscrapers and the famous Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park. Mostly the fountain in this one, with just enough of the Chicago landmarks to make it recognizable.
