sarah grew up with her needs and desires being prioritized over others, she inherently thinks she’s better than everyone because that’s how she was raised. that ‘kook princess’ role primed her for narcissism without most even realizing it.

pair that with being young and traumatized — she will immediately project onto her child. she’ll expect them to admire her no matter what, justify all her choices, stabilize her emotions and unresolved trauma, complete her broken narrative, etc. and that’s the recipe for emotionally enmeshed children — not healthy ones.

sarah would be a mother who clings, panics, projects, spirals, idealizes the child as a new beginning, who collapses when the child needs boundaries, and not because she’s a ‘bad parent’ but because she is UNHEALED and UNSTABLE. 

her trying to take on that pogue title was an escape, she didn’t leave to find herself, she left to avoid accountability, expectations, social pressure, emotional confrontations, hierarchy roles, etc. her entire personality is about RUNNING. she avoids literally everything, motherhood requires STAYING, confronting, growing, stabilizing, and she hasn’t done any of that ever. she traded one identity cage for another, and the pogues romanticized her in a way that let her stay emotionally immature.

her issues are DEEP and they don’t absolve just because she went on a few treasure adventures and had a baby, the brain doesn’t reset like that..
