And if you are an artist, create.  Don’t get distracted by all the shallow superficial bullshit. Seek permanence instead of relevance. Make art instead of content. Chase meaning instead of metrics. Cherish relationships instead of followers. Choose purpose instead of popularity.  With time, you’ll discover that the beauty in creation is not the outcome.  It’s the process.
