• **Rest & Nourishment:** Make sure you’re well-rested and have had something light to eat beforehand. Feeling comfortable and energized will make a big difference.

• **Travel Light:** Leave the heavy bags and unnecessary extras behind. Let’s keep things simple and stress-free so you can focus on this beautiful moment.

• **The Mood:** This is not a formal session. It’s about connection, love, and presence. There’s nothing to “perform.” Your only job is to enjoy, to feel, to embrace this chapter of your story.

• **What to Wear:** Choose soft, flowing fabrics that allow comfort and movement—think linen, cotton, silk. Neutral tones, soft earth colors, creamy whites, muted blues, and terracottas photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos or overly bright colors. Barefoot is always welcome if the space allows.

• **Optional Items to Bring (just a few):**
– A small keepsake for the baby (booties, a little hat, an ultrasound photo)
– A light blanket or shawl you love
– A meaningful piece of clothing (partner’s shirt, a family heirloom)
– Fresh flowers or something from nature for a soft, organic touch

To make your images feel more cohesive and visually balanced, I recommend wearing complementary colors. This doesn’t mean matching outfits, just tones that look beautiful together, like navy and mustard, green and rust, or soft neutrals with a pop of burgundy.
