One of my last projects of the year was a super fun one for @focusvif in Belgium. Focus Le Vif is a Belgian weekly magazine that covers culture, entertainment, and the arts, and is a supplement to the French-language news magazine Le Vif/L'Express. I was asked to illustrate the full wrap-around cover for their ‘Best of’ issue, showcasing the top music, movies, TV series, books, and comics of 2024 as selected by their editors. I had complete creative freedom on this one and truly had a blast, like a kid in a candy store, playing with all the materials they provided. Crops of the illustration were also used to accompany the lists inside the magazine. Huge thanks to @annefontenelle and Laurent Raphaël for one of my most fun commissions of the year, and for trusting me to do whatever I wanted!
