I used an arc transition (inspired by Origami Studio) to compress on the initial tap before springing up into place for a little bit of dynamism.

Finally (and this is a big one): motion backgrounds. It’s easy for an app to feel lifeless when it’s just displaying static data, like the Weather and Sports apps. It’s really hard to get right, but they’ve implemented this animation quite well.

The 3D glass is something we going to see alot more of soon. The Robinhood team cooked on this one.
